Yuji Shimada is a Japanese mixed martial arts referee who has refereed more than 1,000 contests in the biggest MMA promotions in the world. He was the head referee in Pride, Strikeforce, M-1 Global and many other prestigious promotions. The greatest Fedor Emelianenko, Japanese legends Ishii and Minowa, Fabricio Werdum, Mirko ''Cro Cop'' Filipovic and many more fighters’ fates were decided by Shimada. He has refereed almost all of the best fighters in the last 15 years and he's now coming to Abu Dhabi.
