After a series of teasers on social media back in March, WFC is officially announcing its comeback in summer of 2016. WFC President Zlatko Mahic is continuing where he left off at the end of 2014 with his last event in Ljubljana where WFC crowned two champions.

Says WFC President Zlatko Mahic, “WFC paved the way for dozens and dozens of fighters for the region and beyond. I was living and breathing the MMA for a decade and the work overload kinda sucked me dry. I had to take a step back, rethink things and now we are ready for a new chapter. Fans be prepared we are bringing you a new era of the WFC.”

Armed with the know-how this MMA pioneer is returning the WFC on the map. The jubilee 20th event is presenting the cage for the first time ever in its history. On August 27 the biggest names in Europe’s MMA will gather in the Austrian capital of Vienna to restart the long-running promotion.

The event will not only host known and established names but as WFC is known for from the past, young and promising fighters will get an opportunity to shine on the big stage. On the return, WFC will launch a lightweight tournament with quarterfinals set for August 27.

As befits the jubilee the event will be VIP exclusive only. But don’t worry we are thinking on every single WFC fan. Live stream will be available on WFC-TV.com.

Have your say on the WFC’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and expect more news in the coming weeks.

Fighters be ready, fans be ready, WFC IS BACK!
