WFC 18: Evgeniy Mahteenko vs Simone Tessari
Evgeniy Mahteenko got his Welterweight title after he KO'd Tessari from Italy. Tessari, a takedown specialist, tried to bring the fight to the ground but didn’t succeed. Mahteenko attacked with full force and proved to everyone that he has dynamite in his hands.
A bad streak for Tessari continued at WFC as this was his third straight loss after he went on a 7-0 run in his first seven professional fights. On the other hand it was Mahteenko's third straight victory that put him 10-5-0.
Mahteenko was truly passionate after the fight and looked determined that he'll be the new ruler for a long time. We'll just have to wait and see what the future brings. From now on Mahteenko is the man to beat in the welterweight division.
