Slovenia to Host the Historic "Slovenia MMA Summit 2026"
Ljubljana, February 2026 – The MMA Federation of Slovenia is proud to announce the most significant combat sports event of the year. From 27 to 29 March 2026, the Slovenia MMA Summit will take place, bringing world-class experts from the International MMA Federation (IMMAF) to Ljubljana.
Three Days That Will Redefine Slovenian MMA
The Summit is a strategic milestone in the mission to fully regulate and professionalize Mixed Martial Arts in Slovenia. The event is structured into two key phases:
1. Friday & Saturday (27–28 March): International Certification Led by official IMMAF instructors, professional licensing courses will be held for:
- Coaches: Implementation of unified methodology and global safety standards.
- Officials (Referees & Judges): Standardization of officiating based on international criteria.
- Cutmen: Specialized training for fighter care and professional hand-wrapping.
2. Sunday (29 March): 1st Round of the National MMA League (Practice in Action) The Summit will culminate with the first official round of the National League under the new Federation. This event is unique as the newly certified staff will put their knowledge into immediate practice, officiating and managing the tournament under the direct supervision of IMMAF instructors.
