Middleweight Ranking

WFC Middleweight division will be quite interesting to follow this year. Some changes are imminent and the first one is a new fighter that will shook up the division. But first of all we should start with position number 1 which is occupied by our Champion, Svetlozar Savov.

Reigning champion look to be undestructable in the WFC as he's on a four fights winning streak with the latest coming in October when he defended his title againt Bojan Velickovic. One of the most dominant fighters in the WFC was put on a test as he had to battle for whole three rounds later to win after an unanimous decision. That was a surprise for many fans as they were used to see submission endings from Savov.

The man who put him on the ropes is No.2 in our rankings, Bojan Velickovic. Bojan was 6 and 0 prior to his WFC debut against Savov at WFC 17 and proved his worth inside the ring. He had his chances in the fight against Savov but couldn't pull through. But Bojan returned on the winning path at the end of the 2012 when he defeat Kuzela with a submission.

No. 3 on our ranking is a new name in WFC. Mattia Schiavolin signed with WFC just days ago and will make his debut at WFC 18 – Knockout where he will face Velickovic. His professional fight score is 5-0-1. Schiavolin will try to stir up the Middleweight division but will be faced with probably his thoughest challenge up to date on 21 April in Ljubljana.

Bor Bratovz ranks No. 4 on the list and will be looking for another title shot in the near future. After his loss against Savov at WFC 15, he won two consecutive fights respectively both with submission. Win or two and he will have another chance to attack the Champion, so it will be interesting to see him in action this year.

Another Italian on the list is Claudio Conti who debuted in WFC last year in Litija at Challengers 2. He paved his way into organisation with convincing wins outside WFC and has in the meantime become one of the main challengers of Bratovz.

WFC 18 – Knockout will be a true Middleweight showdown!
