Dadaev vs. Mircea at WFC 20

As if Tamirlan Dadaev was desperately waiting for the WFC comeback. The 22-year old originally from Chechnya but fighting out of Austria has been on a short break for the past 18 months with his last fight being at WFC 19 where he overcame Zecchi for a slick Round 2 submission win in Ljubljana.

In 6 weeks time he will be more than ready for a return to professional fighting as he will face Valeriu Mircea from Moldova. Dadaev who’s training at Gym 23 in Vienna is hungry for fights and is looking to get back where he once was – on the top of the list of lightweight contenders that will eventually battle for the title.

Another youngster on the roster Mircea will be making his debut in the WFC. Having spent most of his career fighting in Italy this promising lightweight born in Moldova has a strong Judo background. He’s a decorated Judoka at the international level with a 90% finish rate in MMA. This will surely be a strong matchup that will promote the winner into a contender in the lightweight division.
