Be careful what you wish for!

Vaso Bakocevic ended 2014 in style. WFC lightweight throne slipped through his hands at WFC 17 when Hallmann damaged him severely. He didn't play it cool back then and he didn't changed over the years.

Vaso confronted with his opponent once again at the weigh-in before the WFC 19 as he grabbed Draxler between the photo shooting. Many fans share the opinion that Vaso is not scaring anyone any more with this outburst but nevertheless that's who he is. He might not scared Draxler a night before but he did beat him fair and square after 3 rounds and now he's the newly crowned WFC lightweight champion.

''Best feeling ever! This is something I have been waiting and working for a long time, no matter how many times I've fallen - I've always stood up and I've never stop believing in myself. Now it's finally in my hands and I'm not letting it go that's for sure.'', Vaso enthusiastically described his feeling after wining the title.

Being a WFC lightweight champion is one of the highlights of Vaso's career so far. ''It definitely is, because of the belt itself. WFC is one of the biggest European organizations and I'm honoured to be the king and the champion of the lightweight division.''

Since his last appearance in the WFC, Vaso stepped up him game and improved significantly in the last two years. He's been even lucky enough that injuries didn't trouble him to much. Even though he's much more experienced than Draxler, he didn't underestimate him for a bit. ''Preparations were very hard, maybe the hardest in all of my 26 professional fight but it was worth it, every second of it! I don't regret anything. I got my reward for my hard work and that is all that matters.''

Vaso's next opponent called him out even before we knew who will be the new lightweight champion. Jeffrey Mordan wanted a title fight and it looks like that he just might get his wish granted.

''Everybody knows I'll fight any time, anywhere with anybody! I don't care if it's against a heavyweight - who ever comes and wants to take my belt is gonna have a problem with me. I don't know who Mordan is but it sounds like that he has some balls to call out the champ. We'll see in 2015, I'm ready. Just be careful what you wish for!''

It looks like that the first title fight in 2015 is booked. What do you think about it? Is Mordan ready to upset Vaso?
