A Historical Milestone in Slovenian MMA
On Saturday, November 21st, the Domžale Sports Hall will host one of the biggest and most important martial arts events of the autumn. The merging of the amateur pinnacle and a professional MMA show brings a unique event under the name MMAZS FINALE X FIGHT NIGHT. For the first time in the history of Slovenian sports, we will witness the crowning of official national champions alongside thrilling performances by established professional fighters at the exact same event.
The Future of the Sport: The First Crowning of National Champions The first part of the evening will be dedicated to the foundations and the future of Slovenian combat sports. Under the auspices of the Slovenian MMA Federation (MMAZS), exactly 54 competitors will step into the cage, having earned their place in the grand finale through a grueling season. This will not only be a battle for victory but a historical moment, as official national championship titles will be awarded for the very first time. Spectators will have the opportunity to watch the relentless bouts of rising stars who are just beginning their journey toward the professional elite.
Shifting into High Gear: The Exclusive Fight Night Once the medals are awarded and the first national champions are crowned, the professional climax of the evening will follow. The exclusive Fight Night segment will hand the cage over to seasoned fighters. The schedule features professional bouts starring well-known names from the domestic MMA scene. Showcasing their skills will be Miha Frlić, Jan Berus, and Edin Ramdedović. Adding a special mark to the event will be husband and wife Domen and Maja Drnovšek, promising a truly unique story in the Slovenian combat sports scene.
Two Worlds Under One Roof The concept of the event offers viewers a unique insight into the entire journey of a fighter – from the raw and emotional amateur desire to prove oneself, to a polished professional performance. The event is the result of collaboration and a shared vision to elevate Slovenian MMA to a completely new level.
The atmosphere in Domžale is guaranteed to be electric, and seats in the arena are strictly limited. Tickets for the spectacle are already available through the Entrio ticketing system. The doors open at 16:00, and the first fights will begin at 17:00.
You are invited to support the Slovenian fighters and become a part of history.
