Wollinger to represent Austria at WFC 20

Rene Wollinger will make his WFC debut appearance at the jubilee 20th event on August 27 in Vienna, Austria.

Wollinger’s last fight was in March this year when he won in R1 via TKO at an event in the Czech Republic. Now he’s coming back home to defend his nation’s pride in a cage versus Bratovz. ″I’m pumped for this one! I’ve been in training even before I got the call but now we have even intensified the training at our gym. I’m 100% healthy and I can’t wait to face him (Bratovz) in front of my fans,″ said Wollinger.

Not a single professional fight in his career has gone to distance so fans can expect a fiery fight between the two. ″Yeah, I like to control my own destiny, as in life as in the ring. It’s always better to finish the guy than to be dependent on the judge’s decision.″

Bratovz has been dealing with injuries in the last two years but now he’s ready to attack the middleweight crown once again. ″It’s been tough, real tough. I’ve never been faced with something such as this set of injuries in my career but finally that is behind me. I’m fit and determined to once again climb the WFC ladder and get that championship fight,″ said Bratovz.
