SPARTAN HERO

 

A photographer Simon Plestenjak accopanied heavyweight free-fighter Andreas Kraniotakes (aka Big Daddy) on his mission to get out of the ring victorious.

Story shows Big Daddy during the whole day of the fight, his preparations, his moments of concentration, and his joy of victory.

It was the first time he was wearing the outstanding uniform – a real spartan outfit. His helmet is no face mascarade – it's solid steel piece with real horse hair on the top. The similarity with Frank Millers character in his comic »300« is unmistakable. No surprise, since greek blood runs in Andreas' veins.

And that blood he tastes in heavyweight fights. Thats no hlaf the way job.. once in the ring, Andreas turned into Big Daddy and beaten up his oponent Nandor Guelmino.
