A veteran and a legend of Mixed Martial Arts, Sakurai is a wrestling specialist and with nearly 50 professional fights in his career, he'll go up against young and skilful Svetlozar Savov from Bulgaria.
PRIDE, DEEP and Shooto veteran that has an impressive career with 2 titles and numerous attractive fights. He has fought with the likes of Yushin Okami, Murillo Bustamante and Paulo Filho among others, with some even multiple times in his rich career. He has never backed down from anything and has always followed his inner honour code that has made him one of the most respected MMA fighters from Asia.
Over a decade younger Savov will be a major obstacle for Sakurai who will look to secure his jubilee 25th career win. Sakurai has been a professional athlete for nearly 20 years and with 80% finish record this middleweight showdown might be one for the history books.
