With less than 100 hours until the opening bell, we are glad to inform you that all fighters who have been scheduled to compete are fit, healthy and ready for action. The fighters will arrive in Ljubljana on Thursday in time for the weigh-ins which once again take place at the Arena Entertainment Centre at the BTC City. The weigh-ins start at 6pm. Many fighters will be at the Arena before that time, so if you are looking to get an autograph or have your picture taken with one of the athletes, it may be a good idea to hang around the Arena from 4pm when the pre-weigh-ins are scheduled.
Friday, the fighters have a day off to recover from the exhausting weight cut, so they will be re-energized and in the best possible shape to put on a show for the WFC fans on Saturday. Doors at the Hala Tivoli will be open at 5pm, the opening ceremony will start at 6pm with the first pair of fighters – Austria’s Markus Di Gallo and undefeated Serbian star Dragan Tesanovic – expected in the ring at 6:15pm. With nine fights on the card and once again a tightly-knit show with non-stop action and no breaks, we expect the event to finish at around 9:30pm.
